I work with widgets.

I work in widgets. It’s an amusing phrase that, to the last generation on myriad economic examples, referred to the supply and demand for widgets as an abstraction for items of value. I get the feeling that they are looking for me to be wearing an Acme shirt, rather than a GoDaddy.com one, to back this up. One part that hasn’t changed is the adding of value. It’s the aim of the widget team to, as Bill said in his Introduction, to make the parts of Go Daddy you use the most accessible everywhere.

So far we’ve created several widgets for use with Google IG and search, add-ons for Vista, and two Facebook Applications. You can say hello to our little friends below. We’ll be posting more on each of these items in the future. If you have any questions in the meantime, feel free to comment on this post, or on the applications comment section within Facebook if applicable.

The latter we’ve just launched. It is so new that it may not yet have found its way into the directory. This is a useful tool for anyone that’s in the habit of checking the availability of domain names as they pop into their head. Yep, no need to change gears to go our main site, change the dropdown on the Firefox search, or fiddle with drop down menus just to pick the tld. Just type in the domain name wanted, without the ‘www’, into your Google search, et voila, your results appear within the search. If the domain is available, you can add it directly to your cart from the results.

      Greetings Ruth,

Nearly all website builders  let you include widgets  from various sources. The  website attached to your email  isn't one that's created by us so I will have to give more general information that could  point you in the right direction  The good news is you will likely by able to achieve what you want  from many  different  sources.   Try  widgetbox.com  or  widgiland.com and then follow the instructions to add them into your existing site.

      Regards
